So it's back to the old routine.

I hope everyone had a nice holiday and got to be around the ones the love most.

Mine was wonderful. I got to see my love. He always makes me smile.



I got to go back to school on monday. Back to my everyday schedule. My camera suffered an injury. =/. I'm working on getting it fixed so it will be a while before I post some photos.

...Hello 2009.

With hours away from '09 I thought I should write up my personal summary of '08. Honestly I'm glad '08 is over. Wasn't a very good year for me and I'm happy to see it go. Already have some good plans to start '09 with.

2008 had more downs then ups for me. I'd like to list the ups first:

~ I finally figured out what I want to do with my life. I'm extremely happy with my choice of cosmetology and photography.

~ Love is amazing, scary, something I don't think will ever make sense to me. It certainly makes people foolish. I'm just glad that I've found it and I don't plan on goin anywhere.

~ I realized who my true friends are. Kinda funny in my opinion. Whatever, I don't need drama, ignorance, and inconsideration. I'm not going to be your friend when it's convenient for you or if you have no one to vent your petty bullsh*t to.

~ Nothing is more important then family. I realize this now more then ever. They are always there.

~ I decided to add DIY pieces to my attire. Ripped tights over leggings, studded belts around boots, ripped up shirts, I could go on. 2009 will be a year of estranged fashion.


So those are some things that come to mind. For those who actually read this, make your own list. Stuff you hated, loved, wanted, etc. '08 is over so who cares what you say about it...

Hello Winter...

I can't believe it's already December. This past year has been interesting to say the lest. People come and go and you realize who's really there. Turns out the ones who are there for you are the ones you lest expect it. More importantly I've learned that family is the most important thing. I'm very fortunate to have an amazing family, a wonderful man who I love deeply, and a select few people I'll actually call friends. So my main question is why am I sad all the time? A few suggestions have been pointed out : holidays, weather, different medicines... I don't think it's any of those things. I do know that I need to take more time on the things that make me happy such as my photography and painting. Haven't had a chance to do either in some time and I'm sure I will feel better when I start back up again. Which is why I decided to re-subscribe to deviantArt.

On another note...

School is amazing and I can't wait to finish. I have so many things I'm going to do once I'm done. Take more classes...learn more...make more money...travel. Work is well, retail. Not much to say there. You do what you gotta do.I also saw the Twilight movie the other night and I now have a crush on the main actor. Such a cutie.
